About Dawud Adib
Dawud Adib was born in the USA and accepted

he began to learn the Arabic language and by 1977 he was
the regular khateeb (preacher) at two local mosques in his
hometown of Newark, New Jersey including the musallaa (prayer
hall) at the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry.
From 1992 to 1994, he served as Director of Islamic Studies
at the Islamic Day School in East Orange, New Jersey. In
his capacity as Director, he also taught grades kindergarten
through twelve. Brother Dawud has worked as a chaplain in
three state correctional institutions; New Jersey, New York
and Maryland teaching Arabic language and Islaamic studies
also serving as an advocate for both Muslim and non-Muslim
inmates alike. He has been an active participant in the
Life Connections program at USP Leavenworth (Leavenworth

Guyana (where he has delivered talks on both television
and radio), Trinidad, Great Britain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia,
Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Germany, Ireland

like 'Why You Should be Muslim' and 'Who is Your Creator'
